(More customer reviews)I would have previously rated this game 4 or 5 stars. Unfortunately I am no longer able to play due to a 27 hr download via dial up for a recent patch that I am unable to make(DSL and Cable are not available in my area). Poor planning by Sony to inconvenience paying customers, especially in a shrinking market now dominated by XBox and PS2 gamers. It would have been so much easier to add this new patch to the upcoming Wookie expansion due out fairly soon. I'm disappointed to cancel an account that I've had for almost 2 years. I've got to spend my gaming $$$ elsewhere now.

Star Wars Galaxies is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that lets you assume the role of nearly any type of character in the Star Wars universe and interact with thousands of other players' characters as well as established characters from the movies. You can be a shady smuggler, like Han. You can be a cold bounty hunter, like Boba Fett. You can even be a Jedi, like Luke. You can create and develop any character you like and seek out adventure and excitement as you see fit. Best of all, the game never ends--it persists and changes online, even when you're not playing. Interaction with other players is what this game is all about; you can get together with your Rebel friends and raid an Imperial bunker, or work with other Imperial troops to squash Rebel scum. You can instruct young Jedi in the ways of the Force, or you can work with other bounty hunters to hunt down outlaw Jedi and bring them to justice. Or you can manage a cantina or parts shop and marvel at the galaxy's vast variety of heroes, scum, and villainy.

Rock Band 3 Microphone for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this as a secondary mic to complement the mic I received with Rock Band 2. This is nowhere near as good. This microphone is lightweight and feels much cheaper, plus the cord is several feet shorter. And unlike the RB2 mic, you can't hear yourself in the game at all (yes, I adjusted the volume settings in game).
This was a general disappointment and I would recommend finding an older mic instead.

(More customer reviews)My 6 year old and I love to play this game!! We put it on surround sound and it's like we're at the arena!! If you play in the "season" mode you can pick your truck and take it through all of the arenas's. As you win each step you earn cash to upgrade your truck. When you get to the end of the "season" your truck becomes a special "champ" truck and is added to your choices of truck to use in the other games. I love that you can make it easy to difficult, and select any arena you wish. Recommed this for kids who get frustrated with other car games you have to score high points to get ahead or "open" extra levels.Fun for the younger gang (Mom's too!!)

The people "come to life" and you can play inside your finished castle. You are able to take pieces out of a "lego bucket" and color them and design them however you'd like. I took this game out of the library and it's on my Christmas list!

Star Wars Battlefront II Review

(More customer reviews)I haven't played through the whole game yet but the improvements I have seen so far are very good. However before I get to the changes in game play I have to say that this game makes Battlefront I look like a walk in the park. The space battles are HARD and when I say "HARD" I mean borderline "IMPOSSIBLE". Flying over to land on an opposing ship with turbo lasers frying anything that gets close to it only to land (if you make it) and have 10 enemy pilots waiting to blast you when you step out of the cockpit as well as automated blasters guarding vital systems that you need to blow up equals a lot of controller hurling frustration.
On the positive side the playable heroes are powerful but unfortunately seem to function more as temporary bonuses rather than "characters". Heroes can only be accessed during certain points in a battle and are limited to their own boards. For example you can't play as Han Solo during the Clone Wars. Once a hero is killed you'll be waiting awhile for them to respawn unless you change the settings.
The graphics are much improved over the first game but as a trade off (on the PS2 version) the game does suffer from choppy animation and even slowdown at times. As far as sound goes you will still get tired of hearing "They've captured a command post!" but having voice actors that at least sound similar to the each of the heroes was a nice touch.
Battlefront II also ushers in some new game play modes including the 501st mode which is Battlefront's version of a story mode that follows the storyline of the films. Some older modes have been given a new amount of depth including a much deeper, sophisticated Galactic Conquest mode and better Instant Action mode that lets you incorporate heroes right from the start (rather than having to unlock them)
All in all this is probably the most comprehensive, "all purpose" Star Wars game in awhile. While most Star Wars games focus on the events of specific movie or on characters that don't even appear in the movies, this game spans ALL the movies and has every major character, minion, and vehicle represented and playable in some way. You can't ask for much more than that...

I installed the software that came in the package and there are no cheats... All you can do is backup your save games from your ds game or download a few game saves from other people who uploaded theirs onto the site. I'm very disappointed with this product. I was expecting to be able to edit my save files to make them have specific items and such. If you buy this product, do so knowing that all you can do is backup your save files.

If you have an old Mac, or a Mac not made for gaming (OLD iBooks, imacs and G3s), check your memory... if you have never upgraded, this game could quit. Quit ALL the other applications you might have open before running the game. That might help. OS9 is too old for most video games too. Try to have at least OS 10.2.
If you have a relatively new Mac OS, good memory, fast processor (newer, with a relatively good graphics card), this is a great game for younger kids.
