(More customer reviews)Those who say this game gets dull really quickly, or that it's too easy are obviously not very easy to impress. For most, this game is awsome. Here are some reasons why:
1. The gameplay and replay value are great. There are 4 levels of difficulty: easy, normal, hero, and superhero. Easy is of course, easy. Takes about 2 hours to beat. But after that it gets incredibly hard; yet fun. I bought this game over two weeks ago, and I'm still playing it for hours everyday, and it never gets boring. The replay value and gameplay are great.
2. The graphics are simply put, awsome. Everyone down to the littlelist detail looks real. There are amazing buttons to push and try like Slinging villains into walls or into each other, creating a web dome to protect yourself from gunfire. The ability to zip instantly up to ceilings and swing around buildings. Even the ability to land on top of villains and beat'em up from there. Did I mention the ability to shoot web bombs at villains, even tie them up for up to several minutes? The editor is correct in one manner: you can do anything that spiderman can do.
3. If your worried about getting to know the game and how to work the controls, don't worry. There's a training level that teaches you everything, step by step. Your even trained by a comedian, who has a lot of funny jokes. I really enjoyed training mode.
4. You play up to 5 villains, each more challenging then the first. Each has a few thugs and robots that you have to get by to get to the main villain.
5. Finally, it's worth the 40 or 50 bucks you might pay for it. I bought it on sale for 39.99, and I've played it for close to 50 hours (and I'm still looking forward to playing it everyday).
To wrap it up, it gives hours and hours of fun, and if your new to the Xbox, this is a great game to try it out on first. Well, that's my view on this game. Now I have to go play Spider-man!

Seriously, they say " i played for 15 hours straight and it gets boring", that's because you played for 15 hours straight, not because it's boring!! If you have a real life, you won't play for 15 hours and ruin the game in two days. I just had to say that.

(More customer reviews)Spider-Man has had a pretty good track record with the GBA, but so far not such a good one with the DS. Spider-Man 3 changes that quite a bit, offering a more or less standard action title starring Spidey with plenty of fun elements and some surprising touch screen capabilities as well. While it's a tried but true beat 'em up as one would expect, Spider-Man 3 features the ability to string together attacks and webbing uses by tapping the touch screen and moving with the stylus. This feature is a welcome addition considering that many third party DS games fail to make effective use of touch screen methods, so this alone is a nice touch. The rest of the game is a combination of 2-D and 3-D elements as you swing, fight, rescue those in distress, and race around the various areas as you work your way through the story mode to take on the Sandman, Venom, and as a bonus, the Lizard. There are additional surprises including collectibles and secrets to unlock, and the black symbiote costume is used mostly effectively as well as your rage meter grows and depletes. The game looks good and controls great, and Tobey Maguire even lends his voice to his version of the game as well, which is nice too. The only real drawbacks are that the game's main action is nothing we haven't seen before, and while the multiplayer functions are a nice addition, there could have been more. That aside, Spider-Man 3 for the DS is a surprisingly good movie tie-in that is definitely better than it's bigger home console bretheren, and for Spidey fans on the go, this is definitely worth checking out, and is definitely the best Spider-Man game on the DS yet.

(More customer reviews)From the empire state building to the statue of liberty to the daily bugle,there's nowhere you can't go.Spider-man 2 is like a grand theft auto meets Spider-man meets true crime without the guns.The controls you'll learn in the first 10 minutes but swinging takes time to get used to.The map is huge.You can go to the empire state building,the statue of liberty,Oscorp,the daily bugle,Central park,and even you can see the twin towers memorial at night(well thats what I heard).Now on to Gameplay.
Gameplay:
The game is like the movie and it makes you feel like your really Spider-man.I mean you've got to get to MJ's play on time,deliver pizzas,go take pictures of yourself for the daily bugle,and more.Now you can see why Peter doesn't want to be Spider-man anymore cause on your way to your destination something happens which include banks being robbed,break ins and more.
Baddies:
Doc Ock is the main baddie but others such as Mysterio and Rhino are in the game as well.Even Black Cat is here but she's got no powers.
Audio and Graphics:
The audio is good and the music is great for someparts.The graphics are great too.Only the people in distress don't really have much detail.You will see the same people alot.Their mouths don' move which is ok.The cutscenes are excellent,even Black Cat looks real and Spider-man is perfect.
Swinging:
Now comes the best part,swinging.Theirs two types:Easy and Normal.Easy is well...Easy,but Normal swinging gives you more control over your webbing.This time you have to hit something to swing which means no more swinging on a invisible roof.Web zip is not the same.Instead of zipping like in the first one,It's like the movie how Spider-man pulls himself up to start swinging but it's still ok.
Overall:
Overall,this is a really great game.If your a Spider-man fan you'll like it like me,or if your looking just for a good game, you'll like it too.I suggest playing it or renting it before buying it that way you won't buy a game you don't like.Overall I give it a 10.

(More customer reviews)Spider-Man is a very fun game, especially with the cheats! You can, with the cheats, play has Mary Jane Watson, The Shocker and even The Green Goblin himself! The graphics are great, especially the cutsecenes. Well, just about all the Gamecube games look great! The gameplay/controls are good, but sometimes a tiny bit confusing, ESPECIALLY Oscorp's Gambit level, if you don't know to push UP on the C-Stick to target the balloon! There are levels, plenty, 22 of them! As you may know, ahem, Peter Parker's(Spider-Man alter ego)Uncle Ben died. So, o the first level, you gotta' find the guy who knows about the killer! In the level "Search for Justice", which iis the very first level, you must defeat each Skulls Gang thugs and find answers! Then, you got to "The Warehouse" to find Uncle Ben's Killer! Then, you finally locate him and beat him up. Then he flies out the window. Here are some cheats:
ARACHIDN-Unlock all movies, production arts and fighting combos.
HERMANSCHULTZ-Play as The Shocker.
GIRLNEXTDOOR-Play as Mary Jane Watson.
SERUM-Play as the Scientist.
KNUCKLES-Play as Thug 1.
STICKYRICE-Play as Thug 2.
THUGSRUS-Play as Thug 3.
HEADEXPLODY-Unlock Training Modes.
JOELSPEANUTS-Big heads.
CAPTAINSTACEY-Play as a Helicopter Pilot.

And finally, the most BEST cheat, well, actually, hint or whatever:
PLAY AS THE GREEN GOBLIN!!!
First, go to START. Put your best controls, and then, select hard mode. Then, exit the game and go to cheats. Then, put in ARACHIDN(I hope I spelled it correctly). Go to Level Warp and go to the level, well, actually, it's the ending sequence, "Conclusion". Skip the movie, then go to Secret Store. Scroll to the bottom, to get, THE GREEN GOBLIN!!!
Anyway, this game's fun, but once you win it, about 2 1/2 days, you just have cheats left. The only problem!!! Anyway, I suppose, since you are a Spider-Man-Iac, get it. And, see the movie on may 3rd!!! Enjoy the sights of the tall buildings!
